Created by by Berlin-born designer Hanna Krüger, ‘add.on’ is a series of individually handmade lamps. That entwines the production process and the final object. During manufacturing, the glass sconce is blown directly onto three wooden legs composed in a tripod configuration. It is the glass body along with an aluminum tube for the light that fix the legs together: ‘The tool of the production process becomes part of the product’ in a perfect and unique fit between the stand and lamp.” via
