Flexible Fabric Storage
8.06.2011
Francesca Lanzavecchia and Hunn Wai of the Italian-Singaporean studio Lanzavecchia + Wai, have designed ‘Fragmented 01 + 02′, a series of furniture types which replace the solid side panels of typical storage units with bands of flexible fabric. This material choice not only creates a textural pleated surface, but on a practical level, it allows the units to be accessed from all sides, at any point. via
