Mosaiik Chair
9.03.2011
Annika Göransson is a Swedish design student living in Copenhagen. Annika´s latest piece is called Mosaiik and is a lounge chair where a metal grid makes up the construction of the shell and also serves as a framework for the upholstering. Inspired by the structure of corn cobs and sunflower buds the upholstery is made up of 297 foam cubes. The cubes are spread and packed with the curving of the seat. via
