Floppy Disk Art by Nick Gentry
6.01.2011
Nick Gentry is a British artist who uses obsolete media formats, such as floppy disks, VHS tapes, polaroids and cassettes, to create his unique portraits. He is also using his art to make a comment about waste culture, limited life cycles and identity in general. His works have been exhibited in the UK, USA and Europe, and his book, Obsolete, is available for sale. All proceeds will go to Oxfam, a global movement of people working with others to overcome poverty and suffering.
