‘Vapeur’ paper lamp by Inga Sempé

Inga Sempé is french designer who creates furniture, decorative objects and lighting for companies such as Luce Plan, Ligne Roset, Cappellini, Edra, Domestic, moustache, Artecnica, David Design, Hjelle and Baccarat. In 2009, Inga Sempé has designed a new product for french company moustache: the ‘Vapeur’ lamp. It’s made from lightweight yet indestructible Tyvec material so it looks like paper, but is incredibly resistant. The ‘Vapeur’ collection uses the mechanical and structuring qualities of the pleat to create strange and large lighting volumes.
